Fall Flavors

Fall has officially hit Park City! Between the leaves changing, the temperatures dropping and the sweaters making their way out of storage, the time has come to switch out the ice teas, the peach cobblers and the ice cream for all those delicious Fall flavors. Those meals that might feel like a bit too heavy during summer are making their way back onto the menus. Hearty vegetable soups, stews, casseroles, pot pies, and roasted root vegetables. Hot chocolate, pumpkin spiced everything, and festive hot whiskey drinks are perfect treats after a day on the ski hill or enjoying while snuggled up by the fire with a good book.

This time of year makes me think of the many unique flavors and ingredients the change of season brings. Butternut squash, pumpkin, cranberries, cinnamon, broccoli and brussel sprouts, mushrooms, carrots and apples. Park City Grocery Express can deliver it all and make sure you have your pantry stocked! We love nothing more than to help you get stocked with all the ingredients to keep you fueled during your Park City adventures, so all you have to think about is enjoying time with your family and creating that special meal.

Want to know what one of our favorite autumn treats is…?! A delectable, perfect-for-around-the-fire treat: A Fall Inspired Fancy Whiskey Cider. Full of cinnamon, cloves, a touch of honey and of course a tasty locally distilled whiskey, this cocktail will be a hit for any gathering, be it a party of 1 or 20. Here is one recipe that we love: Make sure to substitute some High West Whiskey for that special local flare. (Don’t forget we can pick up wine, beer and liquor for you as well!)
